Welcome to BikeRaleigh

The goal of BikeRaleigh is to make bicycling safer, more comfortable, and more convenient for people of all ages and abilities. BikeRaleigh’s strategy includes system planning, facility design, education, outreach, and encouragement. BikeRaleigh is the bicycle program under the City of Raleigh’s Office of Transportation Planning, also known as RaleighMoves.

The public is invited to attend an open house to review conceptual drawings of a proposed bicycle facility on Harrington Street. The proposed ‘cycletrack’ is a dedicated bicycle facility that will connect Glenwood South and the Warehouse district as well as future greenway facilities. Public input is desired to insure the improvement of multiple modes of transportation in downtown Raleigh.
