Welcome to BikeRaleigh

The goal of BikeRaleigh is to make bicycling safer, more comfortable, and more convenient for people of all ages and abilities. BikeRaleigh’s strategy includes system planning, facility design, education, outreach, and encouragement. BikeRaleigh is the bicycle program under the City of Raleigh’s Office of Transportation Planning, also known as RaleighMoves.

BikeRaleigh Plan

Adopted in May 2016, the BikeRaleigh Plan is the framework for expanding Raleigh’s bikeway network and improving its safety, comfort, convenience, and accessibility for bicyclists of all ages and abilities. Raleigh Bike Polo pickup!

June 20, 2019  6:00 PM - 8:00 PM
121 N Tarboro St, Raleigh, NC 27610 (on the tennis courts)

Want to join the best, and possibly strangest sport played on two wheels? Come join Raleigh Bike Polo! Loaner bikes and polo mallets are always available, and there is no experience required. We play every Thursday at about 6pm - 8pm (or when folks get tired) and Sundays at about 2pm - 5pm. Rain will always cancel!

But for updates, please join our facebook group- Raleigh Bike Polo. We post updates about pickup games and other things the club has going on. It's also a great place to ask questions, or let us know you're coming out.

Don't know what bike polo is? Check out this wiki page for some history.
