Welcome to BikeRaleigh

The goal of BikeRaleigh is to make bicycling safer, more comfortable, and more convenient for people of all ages and abilities. BikeRaleigh’s strategy includes system planning, facility design, education, outreach, and encouragement. BikeRaleigh is the bicycle program under the City of Raleigh’s Office of Transportation Planning, also known as RaleighMoves.

BikeRaleigh staff will teach the League of American Bicyclists’ Smart Cycling curriculum through 3 in-class sessions and 3 on-bike sessions. Participants will receive a Smart Cycling manual and a Smart Cycling quick guide. This class is a prerequisite for those wishing to become League Cycling Instructors through an LCI Seminar.

Participants must be 18 years old or older. All participants are required to bring their own bike in working order, helmet, bike lock, and water bottle.

This class is brought to you by BikeRaleigh in partnership with Oaks & Spokes. All registration fees will go directly to Oaks & Spokes.
