Updates

Happy New Year! 2017 is going to be a big year for bicycle and pedestrian projects for the City of Oaks (or Spokes!).

Huge thank you to everyone who came out to our BikeRaleigh Racks Ride this past Sunday!! The ride left from Exchange Plaza, through downtown to each of the five racks, and ended at the Downtown Raleigh Food Truck Rodeo. Mary Catherine Floyd, designer and fabricator of the BikeRaleigh artistic racks, also joined us for the ride! Special thanks to BPAC Commissioners Mary Sell and Paul Nevill for leading the ride and being our sweeper, Eric Lamb for kicking off the ride, all of the donors for the artistic racks, and Chris Heagarty of the City of Oaks Foundation for all of his help through this entire process! We look forward to having more rides like this throughout the rest of the year.

We're having a party and we want you to come!!

That's right! We just released a BikeRaleigh App! If you have ever wanted to navigate your way around the City of Raleigh by bike, then the BikeRaleigh App is exactly what you need!

We were so busy celebrating Bike Month we forgot to post that the BikeRaleigh Plan Update had been adopted by City Council!! If you missed our presentation at the BikeRaleigh Forum, see below for some highlights of what's to come!
